Sahal QUAZI

Dr Sahal Quazi is a local doctor, born and raised in the area. He studied Medicine at UCL, gaining his MBBS along with an intercalated BSc (Hons), before completing his diplomas in Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology, working as a junior doctor locally, and training as a GP in Ilford. He then spent four years as a GP partner, and is currently a substantive GP and Medical Education Lead at Fencepiece Road Medical Centre, where he also serves as lead GP for Sherrell House, a local care home. He is currently working towards becoming a GP trainer, teaching being one of the few professional pursuits he approaches with unrestrained enthusiasm. His clinical interests lie in frailty and elderly care, paediatrics (including special educational needs), and women's health, underpinned throughout by a firm belief in continuity of care, the old-fashioned idea that a doctor should actually know their patient. Away from medicine, he can usually be found experimenting with new technology, partway through a DIY project of optimistic scope, eating with considerable dedication, or playing and then hiding from his three children.
