I'm an experienced GP and have worked in medicine for over a decade, across NHS general practice, urgent care and private medicine. I have extensive experience in GP out-of-hours care, assessing and managing patients with a wide range of urgent medical problems. My private practice experience includes working on Harley Street and with Bupa and Nuffield Health. I also undertake specialist work treating varicose veins, including foam sclerotherapy. What I enjoy most about general practice is getting to know the person behind the problem. I like having the time to listen, examine properly and make sense of the whole picture, rather than simply treating a set of symptoms. I’m comfortable looking after both adults and children and dealing with a wide range of medical concerns. I’ve also been involved in medical education and clinical supervision, including training and supporting other doctors. Home visiting is something I particularly enjoy. Seeing someone in their own environment often gives you a much better understanding of what they need and allows for a more personal, unhurried style of medicine.
